La Cantine du Faubourg is one of the most elegant and classy French restaurants in town, located in the famous Emirates Towers Hotel.
It opened its doors more than a decade ago, in their own words "doing its little turn on the catwalk of Paris’ top fashion avenue, at n°105 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré".
There are many reasons to visit it: iconic decoration, classy atmosphere, excellent service, music, art exhibitions and of course the food and drinks. It is the perfect place for a nice lunch, after-work drinks, dining and entertainment, and now for their new event: the Saturdays Bed Brunch.
The concept of the Bed Brunch is a late breakfast in bed, and all the decoration of the venue is related to this, expect an alarm clock on your table, a bed in the middle of the dinning room, and the food on a tray, very unique!
The options for the Bed Brunch are as follow, including a selection of Pastries, Eggs, Signatures and Sweets:
Including Mocktails, Fresh juices, Soft Drinks & Hot Beverages AED 265
Add-on House Red, White & Rose Wines, Sangria’s, Pimm’s & Beers AED 400
Add-on Mimosa, Bubbly Sangrias and Moet & Chandon Champagne AED 550
I had the opportunity to try:
- Egg Royale, grilled avocado, smoked salmon, hollandaise
- Gazpacho, basil oil
- Blow torched Scottish salmon, capers, edamame beans and lime
- Grilled octopus, pepper, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, citrus dressing
- Home-made vanilla yogurt granola: banana, mixed berries or chocolate sauce
The portions of the dishes are small, so you can easily order 4-5 to try different things.
Regarding the drinks I started with a nice capuccino and ended up with a rosé sangría.
All the dishes were excellently cooked and presented and the service is also 5 starts.
We definitely recommed a visit to La Cantine if you want to have a delicious and relaxing Saturday morning but always on style.
