Caged, ladies night at Hotel Cartagena
I wanted to visit Hotel Cartagena, the Latin American inspired restaurant located in the JW Marriott Marquis for so long, and finally I had the chance to go last Tuesday for Caged, their ladies night.
Their offer is 3 free drinks, including wine and cocktails and 30% off food from 5pm till late!
The vibe of the place is great, they even have samba dancers! I also loved the music and the DJ.
The view from the restaurant is amazing, you can see all Dubai, from the sea to Burj Khalifa. For me is even more impressive day time. The decoration was my favourite style: flowers, parrots, green leaves... really Latino and Caribbean!
See in the photos below some of the dishes I tried, they were all amazing and the presentation was just wow! They have everything: from sushi and ceviche to meats and fish. Their staff is really friendly and attentive, and they will suggest the best dishes for you.
The dress code is smart, I wore a nice two pieces suit from Candy Spain and a clutch bag from Bohoo.

Prawn tacos and the ladies night cocktail La concubina del capitán, rhum based.
Sweet corn with queso fresco cheese, I loved this dish.
Grilled octopus, was amazing
Desserts: Coco Loco, vegan coconut ice cream and chocolate and ice cream cigar, with it's ashtray and ash inside, so cool!
