Hitchki at The Grand Millennium Hotel

I had the chance to enjoy a dinner at Hitchki at The Grand Millennium Hotel recently and it was a really nice experience! This internationally brand (they have several outlets in India) focuses on regional cuisine and introduces elements of nostalgia to the dining experience through the decoration of the place and presentation of the dishes and drinks. The menu offers traditional flavors from across India, with classic favorites with a modern twist.
As I was told, India has always been the center of global attention for 3 elements: food, music and of course the big Bollywood industry.
At Hitchki, they decided to put the 3 together under one roof!
The brand focuses on regional cuisine and introduces elements of other era to the “Hitchki” experience. As a curiosity I want to mention that Hitchki means hiccup in Urdu and Hindi.
The menu
I had the chance to try several dished like: mushroom galouti kebab (I loved this one), butter chicken bao served with 3 sauces, chicken wings (with the most unique presentation as you can see in the second photo), Sheek kebab and chicken kadai.
For dessert I had a delicious Chocolate Lava cake.
Hitchki also serves very interesting cocktails, some of their signature drinks are; the Boondi Mojito, the Swadeeka, I hate Tears or Bhatt Saab ki Chai.
The events
At Hitchki, they have special events almost every night! this ones are not to be missed:
- Friday Bollywood night from 10:30pm
- Sunday Ladies night from 8-10pm. Women get unlimited cocktails and mocktails!
- Wednesday Retro night from 9:30pm, with the best music from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
There is valet parking at the hotel and the dress code is smart casual.
