FISH at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi

I want to talk today about my last discovery, Fish Beach Taverna, located at at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. It was a pleasure to have lunch there on a Saturday morning, what that view, beautiful surroundings, chilling atmosphere and even better food and service.

They offer Turkish and Greek cuisine against the stunning backdrop of Arabian Gulf.

The menu at Fish offers the best of fresh Aegean cuisine such as salads, tzatziki, vine leaves, seafood, dressed octopus, salmon, sea-bass, mussels, calamari, pasta dishes and more. You can even choose your own fish from the display.

Menu highlights include the Kokorec: seabass and seabream casserole cooked with green pepper, red pepper, spring onion, parsley and rice; the traditional Greek Mousaka, and the Incik, slow-cooked lamb shank. I had the chance to try the dishes in the photos below.

For starter a cold platter with many options, to have a global understanding of Aegean cuisine, together with my favorite dish: grilled octopus.

For main couses we tryed the grilled fish and an amazing prawns casserole.

For the sweet tooth, the offer walnut Baklava, served traditionally with vanilla ice cream, or the Ekmek Katayif, oven-baked bread pudding served with Turkish fresh cream and hazelnut.

We had a selection of ice creams as you can see in a photo in the gallery below.

Their cocktails menu and wine list are really interesting also. We tried 2 cocktails:

-Bodrum Bodrum: rosemary infused rhum with vanilla and pineapple

- Sunset in Santorini: fresh mint and berries mixed with rhum and pineapple juice.

I like the second very much. They are also in the gallery.

The place is really romantic, and you can sit outside by the beach or inside, even book a private dinning table if you wish.

The good news is that they just installed glass doors, so you can sit inside during summer. Originally an open-air dining concept, Fish Dubai was previously only operational across the cooler months, however now they are able to welcome guests all year round. This addition keeps out the summer heat, yet still offer up the stunning views that it is famous for.

See in the gallery about more photos of the venue. The dress code is smart casual, with shorts and flats smart sandals allowed, because is located by the beach.

In the night you can dress up more, maybe with a long dress and wedges.

I wore a simple asymmetric white dress from House of Sunny and brown wedges from Marypaz.
