Brunch at Palm Grill, Ritz Carlton JBR
Palm Grill it´s located at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in JBR, and it´s the perfect brunch destination if you are looking for a casual place with a 5 stars service.
The venue, that has an amazing 180-degree view of the Arabian Gulf from their beachfront terrace offers and unique dining experience in a laidback environment, perfect to enjoy the sunset.
On Saturdays, they have the ‘Chill & Grill’ brunch, a unique concept where you can enjoy unlimited barbecued food and music from a live ‘island style’ band in a casual setting on our private white-sanded beach.
The starters, cold food and desserts are inside the venue, together with the desserts.
The salad bar offers a selection of beach grilled specialties including freshly caught seafood, from tiger prawns to Omani lobsters to freshly shucked oysters, complemented by delicious cold cuts, arabic food, ceviche, nachos with guacamole, salads including kinoa and pasta and a very interesting beetroot moutabel.
As mentioned the hot food stations with the main courses and bar are outside.
You can choose your grilled fish and seafood from the table or directly in the stall. I had an amazing lobster and prawns, but they also have salmon, chicken anticuchos (peruvian skewers), etc.
My favourite station was the mini tacos and burgers, that were great, also the chilli con carne.
Other available main courses were Spanish paella and lamb with vegetables and roasted potatoes.
The large outdoor area is perfect for a laid-back and “no-shoes” dining experience, and the live music during the brunch make if even more enjoyable.
For the drinks they have a very refreshing selection of cocktails, that can also be ordered on the table or the outdoor bar. They also have jars for sharing.
We cannot forget the desserts; churros, grilled pineapple and amazing ice cream in several flavours, ideal to prolong the after lunch talk in the beach and enjoy the surrondings.
Dress code is very casual, but chic, don´t forget you are in a five stars hotel. You can also have beach access for AED 100 more.
