Brunch at Luchador

I totally loved visiting Luchador, the Mexican restaurant in A Loft Hotel in Palm Jumeirah.

I was very lucky that they are one of the few places serving Friday brunch during Ramadan, the only inconvenience is that of course they didn't have the live entertainment that normally guests can enjoy while eating.

The also have ladies night.

The views from the place are breathtaking, you can see from Atlantis to Marina and Burj al Arab. The interior decoration was also really cool and colorful, they even have Mexican hats for people to take photos and a real fight ring, that they use as a stage for the band (Luchador means fighter).

They serve authentic Mexican food with a modern touch using key ingredients all imported from Mexico.

Mexican food is one of my favorites, and I enjoyed every single dish.

They send everything to the table and the selection is amazing: nachos to start with, different ceviches as you can see in the previous photo, tacos, tostadas, chilaquiles, empanadas, quedadiillas, and churros with chocolate among other sweets! ... I cannot wait to go back!

They even have nopales, an edible cactus leave that I love and I didn't try for years.

Also their beverage menu combines traditional margaritas and tequilas, and I have a delicious strawberry one.

During normal days they have live latino band and resident Dj in the night.

The dress code is smart casual, specially if you want to sit outside, beacuse it's already hot. I wore a simple short white dress, sandals and a black and white hat.
