Alpine Brunch at Grand Plaza Mövenpick
Last weekend I visited one of the newest hotels in town for brunch: Grand Plaza Mövenpick
Located in the heart of Dubai Media & Internet City, this 5-star hotel is perfect for business or leisure, offering 235 sophisticated and spacious rooms and suites.
I loved the modern an elegant decoration, specially the hand-blown glass chandelier at the Grand Lounge, and their dinning options. Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City offers a large diversity of international cuisines & entertainment across five restaurants, lounges & bars.
The brunch I enjoyed was served at Bytes, and it was called the Alpine brunch. Inspired by the Alps region, the European cuisine features several traditional dishes from Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Guests can indulge for hours in the delights of appetizing alpine salads, cold cuts, traditional flavours including sausages, comforting mains and granny style desserts while giving a chic touch with fresh oysters, seafood and sushi station.
There was live carving with roast beef and lamb leg along with freshly baked pizza. The food choices range from a European cheese station – serving guests traditional Alps charcuterie and raclette – to a truffle & parmesan station with fresh pasta finished in the parmesan wheel.
They were also serving pork. Apart from the live stations, main courses are served on the tables in small portions so you can try all, like the first photo.
We were also served the finest, alpine inspired drinks directly from the beverage stations. Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini’s with Mövenpick Coffee, Italian hops and bubbly are served in addition to soft drinks and fresh juices.
The Alpine Brunch is priced at AED 249 per person with free-flowing non-alcoholic beverages, or AED 399 per person with free-flowing selected beverages. From 12.30 pm until 4.00 pm
