24th St. the coolest street in Dubai

Since I started writing about restaurants, hotels and new venues, I had the opportunity to try amazing places all around Dubai, and it´s quite hard to feel impressed anymore.

I was greatly surprised when I discovered recently 24th Street at Dusit Thani Hotel. I really felt transported to a street in any Asian country. It was so cool!

The place is designed like a street full of food stalls representing four well known foodies destinations: China with a stall called Lucy Wong’s Japan with Momo San Korean with Kim’s Korean Indian with Chatakana

The venue located on the 24th floor has a bustling atmosphere, contemporary eclectic décor and stunning views of Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC and Burj Khalifa.

You can choose from the menu the food and drinks from the 4 stalls at your table, or walk around and see in person how the chefs prepare the dishes in front of you.

I had the opportunity to try the famous street food papdi chaat from the Indian stall, sushi, a very interesting baked cod fish in a whole orange, Korean grilled minced marinated meat, a really nice deep fryed chicken Pataya Style with mango and matcha cream cake for dessert.

The portions are good, the prices very competitive and the service excellent. Also recomended for a drink (they are licensed) and nibbles, and they are open for lunch and dinner!

The dress code it’s smart casual, no high heels mandatory. We definitely recommend a modern Asian inspired outfit, like the cool collection of Serena Xu.
