Wyndham Marina
Last weekend I had the chance to enjoy a great staycation at Wyndham Marina in Dubai. Located in Dubai Marina, the fours starts international hotel has great views overlooking Dubai Marina and the Arabian Gulf.
This hotel is the ideal location for both business and leisure travellers.
For tourist the area has so much to offer: Dubai Marina, Marina Mall, The Open Beach and The Walk at JBR and Blue Waters.
The hotel has fitness center, spa and a rooftop pool. For business travellers they have conference room and business center.

The rooms and suites have an amazing luxurious and contemporary decor, with stunning views of Dubai Marina and the city's skyline.
I stayed in the Grand Room, and it was a great experience. It was a really elegant loft-style room with open concept living and sleep areas. The room has a 40" Flat-screen LED TV that can be turned from the living room to the bedroom, and a comfortable working desk with a Coffee/Tea Maker.
The room also had a small balcony and floor to ceiling window to enjoy the view.
I really liked the detail that there was a plate of fruits and another one of sweets waiting for me when I arrived.
The bathroom had a really big bathtub where I was able to enjoy a nice and much needed bubbles bath!
The hotel breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at Alloro Ristorante. This Italian venue offer a la carte generous portions for lunch or dinner, and a nice buffet for breakfast.
I tried the lasagna and the gnocci mare e monti and they were both delicious. Also for lunch and dinner the offer a small salads and desserts buffet.
The decoration of the place is very nice and warm, and they have a very cute terrace with AC, where you can enjoy the delicious breakfast. The breakfast had everything: continental food, local food, cheeses, cereals, pastries, etc. and everything very fresh. Even a chef was preparing omelettes on the spot.
On Fridays they offer Festi di Famiglia Brunch from 1pm to 5pm, a family-style sharing feast with generous amounts of good food and grape. You can see below the prices. AED 199 (Non-Alcoholic Package) AED 299 (House Beverage Package) AED 399 (House Beverage & Sparkling Package)
Another great restaurant in the hotel is The Blacksmith Smokehouse. The first smokehouse in the UAE. The Blacksmith Smokehouse has a custom-built smoker to provide that real authentic taste of southern soul food. They have theme nights like Wingin' Wednesdays with the Vulcan Challenge, and oversized portions at the ITIS Friday Brunch.
They also have cool drinks menu with spiked ice teas, porter floats and signature frozen daiquiris.
