Gossip Sunday, the Ladies Night at Bazxar
Yes there is ladies night on a Sunday! And not just an average ladies night, I am talking about a great one: Gossip Sunday at Bazxar in DIFC. The experience was really amazing, every detail was perfect.
They treat ladies with 3 Complimentary drinks upon ordering each signature dish from 6 PM to 11 PM and 40% discount on a total bill. Guys are also welcome, mixed group are getting 25% discount on a total bill.
Their menu is very extensive and with a good variety of dishes for all tastes, and with the 40% discount offer is the perfect moment to try it all!
I had the marinated salmon carpaccio (with citrus dressing and cranberries) and burrata (with seasonal truffles, cherry tomatoes, edamame and cranberries) as starters and lamb cutlet with potato puree as a main course, and it was all perfectly cooked and presented.
They also offer a special menu for the Gossip Sunday’s night, that comprises of 4 platters; ‘Naughty’, ‘Skinny’, ‘Cheeky’ & ‘Dirty’.
These platters include sharing delicacies loved by all, like nachos, chicken potstickers, dynamite shrimp, chicken caesar salad or cheese & olives.
For the ladies night the offer 3 complimentary glasses of wine.
After dinner we decided to move to the bar and try something else from the drinks menu. We definitely did the best choice ever: the Raspberry Ripple Tipple Mocktail (they also have a version with alcohol). We had several of them. The taste and the presentation was really nice. The ingredients are raspberry, vanilla, lime, nougat and anise.
The place was very alive since the moment we arrived. The restaurant area is overlooking the bar, but quiet at the same time. We really like that.
The after drinks at the bar were the best moment of the night. Their resident DJ was really amazing, we couldn’t stop dancing while sitting in the stools by the bar counter.
He was mixing old and new songs in a really nice way, think of Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Latin famous tunes and actual songs. So good!
